Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our on-site team in Portage, MI. You will engage with prospective residents, explain community features, and guide applicants through the leasing process to ensure a positive resident experience.

The role requires prior sales or customer service experience, familiarity with Microsoft Office, and potential use of Yardi Voyager. Weekend availability may be required in a dynamic apartment community.

Qualifications

• Previous sales or customer service experience is required.
• Experience in multi-family property management is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs is required.
• Experience using Yardi Voyager or related property management software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Present community information to prospective renters in a professional manner.
• Provide accurate information on features of the community and area.
• Build rapport with potential residents via phone and email.
• Process applications and follow up to maintain communication.
• Prepare lease contracts and related documents.
• Coordinate move-ins/outs and document events for departments.
• Address resident complaints and help develop solutions.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
