Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in apartment leasing and/or sales.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Sales-focused with ability to generate leads and close deals.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects; tour property and amenities.
• Ensure property and show units meet company standards for marketing/leasing tours; communicate upkeep needs.
• Record all telephone and in-person traffic.
• Ensure applications are completed per policy.
• Ensure leases are completed per policy.
• Manage move-in, renewal, and move-out processes per policy.
• Use on-site property software to track apartment availability.
• Stay informed on market trends and competitor conditions affecting occupancy; prepare market surveys.
• Design marketing plans and activities to drive traffic to the property.
• Complete outreach marketing and record all marketing efforts.
• Proficiently use the internet for marketing (Craigslist, Google, etc.).
• Distribute newsletters, flyers, and resident notices.
