RPM Living in Houston is seeking a Leasing Associate to handle leasing, marketing and maintain positive resident relations. You will conduct tours, assist applicants, and coordinate move-ins to ensure a smooth resident experience.

The role requires strong customer service, ability to qualify prospects, process applications with credit checks, and collaboration with maintenance and marketing to optimize occupancy. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required.
• Six months to one-year related experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries to schedule tours (virtual, self-guided, in-person).
• Greet and qualify prospects; assist with applications and deposits per procedures and Fair Housing.
• Maintain availability reports and process applications with credit checks and rental history verification.
• Collaborate with Community Manager on applicant status and close leases.
• Show apartments, finalize move-ins, collect signatures, and provide orientation for new residents.
• Maintain social media presence to boost visibility and engagement.
• Address resident questions and issues promptly to promote retention and satisfaction.
• Close sales through appointments, tours, and follow-up; manage showrooms.
• Implement marketing strategies within the Marketing Plan (rental rates, referrals, promotions).
• Project a positive image of the community to achieve objectives and visibility.
• Host resident events and activities; participate in after-hours events as needed.
• Complete paperwork for leases, move-ins/outs; attend regular goal meetings.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure timely service responses.
