Job summary

Madison Apartment Group in Geneva, IL is seeking a friendly Leasing Consultant to welcome prospective residents, conduct tours, process applications, and support move-ins. You will be the first point of contact, helping lease apartments and build positive community relations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in sales or leasing, strong communication and organization, and familiarity with CRM/Yardi and Microsoft Office; a high school diploma is required, and real estate license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years of sales/leasing experience preferred.
• High School Diploma is required; Real Estate License preferred.
• Experience with CRM/Yardi and Microsoft Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment for residents and guests.
• Lead property tours, show vacant units, and market amenities to close sales and maintain occupancy.
• Handle all leasing activities, including qualifying prospects and preparing lease documents.
• Plan and participate in resident functions and community events.
• Maintain knowledge of the market and generate prospects through advertising and follow-up.
• Manage resident service requests and coordinate with maintenance for timely resolution.
• Inspect models and vacancies for cleanliness and report needed repairs.
• Assist with site social media and maintain resident records.
• Complete lease applications, verify applications, and notify prospects of decisions.
• Organize and file reports, leases, and paperwork.
