Job summary

Omninet Capital LLC is seeking a Leasing Consultant in Las Vegas to coordinate apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals, ensuring maximum occupancy and resident satisfaction, and to assist the Community Manager as needed.

The role involves direct interaction with prospective and current residents, supporting marketing efforts, and handling daily office tasks to maintain a well-run property.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of previous customer service and/or residential leasing experience is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with residents, prospects, employees, peers, vendors, owners, etc.
• Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
• Ability to use general office equipment (telephone, fax, printer, copier, key track system).
• Computer software experience including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook and YARDI.

Responsibilities

• Rent apartment homes: generate traffic, respond to inquiries, greet prospects, tour properties, qualify prospects, close lease by obtaining application and deposit.
• Visually inspect property areas daily for cleanliness and coordinate with Property Manager.
• Explain features/benefits to clients and close the sale.
• Process rental applications, collect documents, schedule move-ins, and prepare lease files.
• Maintain lease files and track traffic to convert at least 30% of inquiries to leases.
• Follow up with prospective residents within 24 hours and perform additional follow-ups.
• Assist in planning and implementing community marketing to generate traffic.
• Perform outreach marketing visits weekly and maintain leads.
• Perform general office tasks including filing, scheduling, and coordinating move-ins.
