Job summary

Valiant Residential seeks a Leasing Consultant responsible for leasing, retention, and occupancy at the community while promoting resident satisfaction. You will greet prospects, prepare move-in packages, process applications, and maintain accurate records.

Strong English communication and a customer-service mindset are essential; bilingual Spanish is a plus. Flexible schedule including evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Ability to support and contribute to the community team; strong oral and written communication skills.
• Operate Microsoft Office including Word and MS Outlook, and community software.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria (ask questions, use guest cards).
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record visits on reports; file guest cards per procedures.
• Inspect models and market-ready units; report service needs to Community Manager.
• Process applications and deposits; ensure Fair Housing compliance.
• Update availability report and process applications for approval (credit check, rental history).
• Assist in monitoring renewals and send renewal notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and file market information.
