Job summary

The NRP Group is seeking a Leasing Specialist for Centro35 to maximize occupancy by generating qualified traffic, giving tours, and coordinating move-ins. You will respond to inquiries, promote resident retention, and provide exceptional customer service.

Under the direction of the Community Manager, you will conduct leasing activities, process applications and fees, and maintain property appearance and curb appeal daily.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, college preferred, Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) accreditation preferred
• 1-year customer service or sales experience (or relevant education)
• Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office; Yardi experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct all leasing activities at the property, responding to inquiries, providing tours, following up with prospects, and coordinating move-ins
• Perform telephone market surveys and physical shops of competitors
• Develop and monitor on-site marketing activity; build referral programs
• Maintain closing ratios and LIHTC file compliance in line with policy
• Inspect market-ready units and ensure show-ready condition each morning
• Assist with resident retention, renewals, and notices to vacate
• Collect and report receipts of application fees, security deposits, rents and other fees
• May assist at other properties and run errands as needed
