Job summary

APG in Avondale Estates, GA is seeking a Leasing Agent to be the first point of contact for prospective residents, market available apartments, and lead tours to guide applicants through the leasing process. You’ll help the community meet occupancy and leasing goals and maintain accurate records in the property management system.

Responsibilities include processing rental applications, preparing lease agreements, and assisting current residents with retention efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in leasing, sales, or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to build relationships with prospects and residents and close leases.
• Proficiency with property management software and basic computer tools.

Responsibilities

• Market available apartments and respond promptly to prospective residents.
• Conduct property tours and follow up with leads to secure new leases.
• Process rental applications according to the company’s criteria.
• Prepare lease agreements and maintain accurate records in the system.
• Assist current residents and support retention efforts.
• Ensure the property is presented professionally and meet occupancy goals.
• Comply with Fair Housing laws and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
