Job summary

APG is seeking a Leasing Agent to be the first point of contact for prospective residents and a trusted resource for current tenants. You will market available apartments, lead tours, guide applicants through the leasing process, and help the community meet its occupancy and leasing goals.

Responsibilities include conducting tours, processing applications, preparing leases, maintaining records, and ensuring the property is presented professionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to close leases and follow up on leads.
• Proficiency with property management software.

Responsibilities

• Market available apartments and respond to inquiries.
• Conduct property tours and follow up with leads.
• Process rental applications per screening criteria.
• Prepare lease agreements and maintain records.
• Assist residents and support retention efforts.
• Ensure the property is presented professionally.
• Meet occupancy and leasing goals.
• Adhere to Fair Housing laws and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
