Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Leasing Associate to manage leasing, marketing, and resident relations at an apartment community. You will sign leases, handle applications for housing, collect deposits, and ensure occupancy targets are met. The role involves tours, policy knowledge, and ongoing resident engagement.

The position emphasizes strong communication, office software proficiency, and compliance with HUD rules for low-income housing programs. A flexible schedule and on-site work are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years tax credit experience
• Property leasing, sales and/or customer experience
• HUD rules and low-income housing program policies
• Excellent follow up skills via email and phone
• Onsite experience is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Prepare model and target apartments for showings and keep areas clean
• Complete lease forms and collect deposits
• Market property, answer questions, conduct tours, promote amenities
• Know lease terms, specifications and policies
• Handle resident move-outs and occupancy policies for housing programs
• Monitor market conditions and competitive properties
• Develop and maintain resident retention programs
• Maintain resident and property files
• Respond to resident requests and complaints courteously
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude
