Job summary

University Partners in Columbia, SC, is seeking a Leasing Consultant to support leasing, marketing, and resident relations by delivering outstanding customer service and helping achieve occupancy goals while adhering to Fair Housing policies.

You will conduct tours, present community features, review applications, maintain files, coordinate move-ins, and assist with renewals and outreach efforts, all while keeping leasing spaces organized and compliant with company standards.

• Prepare and maintain lease files and required documentation.
• Verify apartment readiness prior to move-in.

• Respond to calls, emails, and resident communication professionally and timely.
• Assist with work order entry and maintenance communication.
• Support move-in processes including documentation and system setup.
• Maintain leasing office, model units, and amenity presentation.
• Maintain knowledge of market competitors, pricing, and concessions.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of lease terms, unit specifications, availability, current market conditions, and all community policies.
• Ensure understanding of required application information, screening process, policies, and procedures.
