RPM Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Dallas, TX. You will greet prospects, process applications, manage leases and renewals, collect rent, and promote resident satisfaction through effective communication and social media.

Responsibilities include showing apartments, processing applications, handling move-ins/outs, and ensuring compliance with lease terms and Fair Housing requirements.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service or apartment leasing experience preferred.
• Background in accounting with customer service is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; project management skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects professionally using guest cards in our Lead Management Software; assist with applications and deposits following procedures and Fair Housing rules.
• Process applications, credit checks, rental history verification, and submit for Community Manager approval; follow up with applicants.
• Show apartments, close sales, prepare units for move-ins, obtain signatures, and provide community orientation.
• Manage lease renewals, issue renewal notices, handle move-outs per lease terms, apply fees, and update property software with move-in/out data
• Oversee rental collections, enforce lease terms, track fees, and initiate evictions when needed for financial compliance and revenue.
• Respond promptly to complaints and requests to enhance resident satisfaction and retention; maintain social media presence to boost engagement.
