Job summary

Greystar seeks an onsite Leasing Consultant to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies, aiming to maximize occupancy and revenue while ensuring resident satisfaction from tour to move-in. This is a non-remote role at a Greystar community.

You will greet prospects, present show units, process applications, and manage renewals, maintaining high show quality and service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have all licenses and/or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Must have valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Performs all sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals, including greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, credit checks, and preparing lease and move-in packages.
• Inspects apartments prior to move-in and coordinates with maintenance to ensure move-in readiness.
• Develops and implements short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy and follows policies related to concessions and programs.
• Designs and executes marketing activities to drive traffic using online tools and referrals, while following approved community marketing plans.
• Uses on-site software to track availability, leasing activities, and resident data; maintains data accuracy.
• Ensures show units meet company standards and prepares leasing office for daily activities.
• Follows up with prospects and residents to confirm lease decisions and renewals.
• Supports lease renewal process by preparing renewal letters/packages and contacting renewing residents in advance.
• Responds promptly to questions and escalations with appropriate follow-up and documentation.
