Job summary

Greystar in Matthews, NC seeks a Leasing Consultant to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for a 258-unit garden community. The role drives occupancy, handles tours, processes applications, performs background checks, and prepares leases with move-in packages.

Strong communication and flexible hours are essential. Onsite duties include maintaining show units, following market trends, and supporting renewal programs to maximize retention and revenue.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in property leasing is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs all sales and leasing activities to achieve the community’s revenue and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting community tours and showing apartments, processing applications, credit screening, and criminal background checks, preparing the lease and move-in package, and ensuring a smooth resident move-in and lease signing.
