Job summary

Knoxville's Community Development Corporation is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to help oversee a mixed housing community. The role covers leasing, certications, rent determinations, and regular unit inspections to uphold standards and regulatory compliance.

You will assist with marketing and resident relations while supporting LIHTC and PBRA programs. The position requires strong customer service skills, knowledge of housing programs, and proficiency with MS Office and property

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, public administration, or related field.
• Experience in residential property management and lease processes.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing laws and regulatory compliance is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and property management software (Yardi highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lease vacant apartments and conduct move-in procedures.
• Prepare certifications and manage rent changes per program rules.
• Conduct property and unit inspections to ensure safety and appearance.
• Assist with marketing, resident relations, and timely reporting.
• Support compliance with LIHTC, PBRA, and related regulations.
