Job summary

General Services Corporation (GSC) is seeking a Leasing Consultant to handle administrative and leasing duties at our Richmond, VA properties. You will manage mail, files, deposits, and lease renewals while coordinating property inspections and move-out processes.

The role requires strong English communication, customer service skills, and weekend availability. You will support the leasing team in qualification, verification, and tenant relations, contributing to overall property performance.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years working knowledge as a leasing consultant of conventional properties.
• Must have command of English language.
• Some weekend work required.
• Personal qualities: People-oriented, open to learning and change.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for administrative and operational tasks including mail distribution, file maintenance, and office supplies management.
• Assists with deposits, collections, lease renewals, and property inspections.
• Prepares move-out paperwork, manages the gate card system, bills service invoices, and assists with court papers and extermination notifications.
• Supports leasing staff in applicant qualification and renewal processes.
• Monitors property twice weekly for violations and notifies Property Manager of issues.
