General Services Corporation (GSC) is seeking a Leasing Agent in Richmond, VA to show apartments, qualify prospects, and secure leases at optimal rents. You will greet visitors, schedule tours, and convert inquiries by phone, email, and in person, while maintaining vacancy and occupancy targets.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and a proven sales record in a computerized environment; leasing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Outstanding sales ability in a computerized environment.
• Preferred: One year of leasing experience.

Responsibilities

• Show apartments to prospects and secure leases.
• Greet customers by standing and smiling and convert walk-ins to appointments.
• Screen applicants by reviewing credit reports, employment references, and rental references.
• Prepare leases and conduct move-in orientations.
• Maintain move-in and move-out kits; handle subleases, renewals, and notices.
• Follow up on delinquent rent and maintain property files.
