Job summary

Milhaus is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support property operations at our Florida sites. You will assist with leasing, resident relations, budgeting, and daily property management tasks under the Property Manager.

The role involves collaboration with Milhaus teams, vendors, and resident services to optimize cash flow and occupancy. The position emphasizes compliance with Equal Housing Opportunity requirements, accurate reporting, and timely communication to ensure smooth property

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of progressively responsible experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in budget planning and expenses monitoring.
• Computer skills sufficient to enter reports and daily operations data.
• Knowledge of Equal Housing Opportunity (EHO) requirements and applicable program regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager with overall property management.
• Generate satisfactory cash flow and positive resident relations.
• Communicate with Milhaus employees, outside vendors and others as needed.
• Lease apartment homes, conduct tours, process applications and deposits.
• Screen applicants and notify acceptance/denial per regulations.
• Conduct market surveys and make marketing recommendations.
• Prepare and administer the community operating budget.
• Complete move-in and move-out inspections.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Manage property in the temporary absence of the Director of Residential Services.
