Job summary

Milhaus is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to assist the Property Manager in overall property operations, drive positive resident relations, and help maximize occupancy and cash flow. The role involves coordinating with Milhaus teams, outside vendors, and residents to ensure smooth daily operations.

You will handle inquiries, leases, and paperwork, prepare operating budgets, and support marketing and outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

• Two years of progressively responsible experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with budget planning and monitoring of expenses.
• Basic computer skills to enter reports and daily operations data.
• Knowledge of Equal Housing Opportunity (EHO) requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident inquiries and leasing processes, including tours and applications.
• Process paperwork and maintain records related to residents.
• Support budget preparation and monitor monthly expenses.
• Communicate with Milhaus staff, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with EHO requirements and company policies.
• Assist with market analyses and reports as needed.
• Coordinate with Property Manager to maintain cash flow and occupancy.
• Support community outreach and marketing efforts.
