Job summary

Housing Trust Group in Florida seeks an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in leasing, marketing, accounting, and maintenance at on-site properties. This role ensures smooth operations, vendor coordination, and accurate financial reporting.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in property management or tax credit experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent tenant relations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of tax credit experience.
• Sales and/or leasing experience.
• General office and accounting skills.
• Proficiency with computers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager in supervising on-site staff.
• Work with the Property Manager to resolve property management issues.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure service contracts compliance.
• Assist in preparing operating and capital budgets and reconciliations.
• Review and assist with monthly reports as needed.
• Post all resident and rent payments.
• Perform move-in/move-out and software duties.
• Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.
