Job summary

Ludwig and Company is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for a 356-unit complex in Columbus, OH. Under the Property Manager, you will handle leasing tasks, resident relations, and daily operations to maintain occupancy and a quality living environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in customer service and apartment leasing, strong communication skills, and a reliable driver’s license. On-site role with responsibilities spanning office, leasing, and maintenance coordination.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service and/or sales experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, commitment to solving resident issues.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 Year Apartment leasing required.
• Strong filing, computer and organization skills.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, strong work ethic and pride in work product.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Answer leasing office phone and greet prospects.
• Tour apartments with prospective tenants.
• Track leasing prospects and complete lease applications.
• Assist in verification of applications and certifications.
• Contact applicants/residents to obtain financial information for certifications.
• Plan and oversee social programs and events for residents.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of deposits and record collections in property management software.
• Assist with rent collections by contacting residents regarding late rents.
• Communicate with residents about work orders and schedule maintenance.
• Track status and completion of work orders in the software.
• Assist with community inspections.
• Other duties as assigned.
