Job summary

Yugo Echelon State College is seeking a Leasing Manager to lead leasing efforts, train staff, and drive occupancy across the property. You will oversee tours, applications, renewals, and move-ins, while maintaining accurate records and delivering exceptional resident service.

The role emphasizes coordinating marketing, responding to inquiries, and ensuring compliance with housing regulations; prior Entrata experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; equivalent experience acceptable.
• Minimum of one year of experience in residential properties or rental operations.
• Experience working at a property, preferably a university/college.
• Entrata or equivalent rental software experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build relationships.
• Customer service-focused; able to handle difficult situations and resident requests.
• Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of leasing, resident retention, and lease renewal activities to support occupancy goals.
• Conduct property tours, respond to inquiries, and qualify applicants per company standards.
• Review and process rental applications, leases, move-ins, move-outs, and renewals accurately.
• Coordinate move-in orientations for a smooth resident experience.
• Maintain leasing records, resident files, and daily activity tracking.
• Lead marketing and outreach to increase visibility and leasing performance.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and resident feedback to support strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and all applicable laws.
• Build relationships with current and prospective residents through professional service.
• Coordinate resident events to enhance community satisfaction and retention.
• Perform routine inspections of units, model apartments, and spaces for cleanliness and curb appeal.
• Collaborate with maintenance to handle service requests and unit readiness.
• Lead and coach leasing staff; promote best practices in leasing and customer service.
• Prepare and participate in weekly occupancy and activity reporting.
• Keep leasing office and model units organized and tour-ready.
