Job summary

Yugo is seeking a Leasing Manager in Salt Lake City to lead leasing operations, train and supervise staff, and drive high occupancy across our student housing properties.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will conduct property tours, qualify applicants, process applications and leases, coordinate move‑ins/move‑outs, and partner with maintenance to ensure spotless, tour‑ready communities while delivering exceptional resident experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in residential leasing or rental operations.
• Experience with property management software (Entrata) is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to handle difficult situations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all leasing activities to meet occupancy goals.
• Conduct property tours and respond to prospect inquiries.
• Review applications, process leases, and coordinate move-ins/outs.
• Lead leasing staff and provide training and coaching.
• Coordinate orientations and maintain leasing records and reports.
• Support marketing and outreach to increase visibility and traffic.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and policies.
• Build positive relationships with residents and prospects.
• Collaborate with maintenance for unit readiness and service requests.
