Job summary

Yugo Champaign South Third Lofts is seeking a Leasing Manager to lead leasing operations for the property, train staff, and drive occupancy. The role focuses on welcoming new tenants, maintaining occupancy, and delivering excellent resident service in a dynamic student housing environment.

You will oversee all leasing phases, coordinate tours, process applications, and ensure compliance with housing regulations while collaborating with maintenance and management teams to enhance the resident

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in residential properties or rental operations.
• Entrata or rental software experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training.
• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Experience at a university/college property is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee leasing, resident retention, and lease renewal activities to support occupancy goals.
• Conduct property tours, respond to prospect inquiries, and qualify applicants.
• Review and process rental applications, lease agreements, move-ins, move-outs, and renewal docs.
• Coordinate and conduct move-in orientations for a smooth resident experience.
• Lead leasing staff and train team on best practices in leasing and customer service.
• Prepare weekly leasing, occupancy, and activity reporting.
• Ensure leasing office and model spaces are tour-ready and organized.
