Job summary

The Franklin Group in Landover, MD is seeking a Leasing Manager to lead leasing consultants and develop leasing plans to attract new residents and retain current ones. You will supervise staff, ensure occupancy goals are met, and coordinate with the Community Manager to implement effective retention strategies.

Responsibilities include approving leases, managing renewals, scheduling and reporting, and maintaining accurate leasing data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong coaching and training skills are required.
• Strong lease closing skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop programs to ensure occupancy goals are met or exceeded.
• Review and approve all new leases and renewals.
• Review leasing consultant commissions and report to the property manager.
• Provide leasing and renewal information for monthly property reports.
• Ensure all leasing data is entered into operation systems.
• Maintain the property’s leasing and renewal goal board.
• Inspect models and office areas for cleanliness and appeal.
• Develop monthly staff work schedules for business hours.
• Plan and implement leasing promotions.
• Monitor concessions and specials to meet objectives.
• Know company leasing policies and property community rules.
• Assist Community Manager with resident retention programs.
• Report any unusual circumstances to the Community Manager.
• Assist with collections as directed by the Community Manager.
