Job summary

The Franklin Group in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Leasing Consultant to show and lease apartments, support the community’s marketing plan, and lead resident engagement.

You will assist applicants with rental applications, collect deposits, and maintain the model and office spaces while upholding Fair Housing and rental policies. This role is non-exempt and requires excellent customer service and sales skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience preferred.
• Ability to understand leasing terms, policies, and market rates.
• Fair Housing knowledge and compliant sales practices are required.

Responsibilities

• Show and lease apartments to prospective residents per marketing plan.
• Assist applicants with rental applications and collect security deposits.
• Maintain model and target apartments; ensure clean, orderly offices.
• Maintain knowledge of community policies, rates, locations and amenities.
• Develop and maintain resident retention activities under supervision.
