Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Leasing Consultant to serve as the community's sales representative, greet clients, present features, and secure lease agreements from qualified persons.

Responsibilities include collecting deposits, showing units, maintaining knowledge of policies, marketing outreach, and resident retention programs. Strong communication, professionalism, organization, and prior leasing experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect a deposit and process future residents’ applications.
• Ensure model/target apartments are ready for show and maintain a clean workspace.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability, market conditions, and policies.
• Utilize customer service and sales techniques.
• Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses.
• Shop surrounding properties and conduct outreach marketing.
• Develop and maintain resident retention programs.
• Create new move-in files and assist with ongoing maintenance of files.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Handle resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
