Bedrock's Leasing Consultants are essential to our property's success, supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring residents' satisfaction. The role focuses on leasing and financial performance while delivering top-notch customer service, with emphasis on affordable housing programs and LIHTC compliance.

The ideal candidate will assist prospective residents through the leasing process, maintain accurate files, and collaborate with the Community Director to achieve community goals.

Qualifications

• Experience with leasing in multifamily properties or affordable housing is preferred.
• Knowledge of Section 8 and LIHTC programs is beneficial.
• Ability to manage resident files and ensure compliance with regulations and audits.
• Strong customer service and clear communication skills are essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a team to meet property goals.

Responsibilities

• Process leasing applications, including intake, screening, and qualification under Section 8 and LIHTC guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with affordable housing program requirements and maintain accurate resident files.
• Coordinate lease execution and renewals with property management and compliance terms.
• Prepare and submit required documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
• Provide exemplary customer service to residents, actively solving issues and creating a welcoming environment.
• Abide by fair housing standards and applicable laws.
• Develop professional skills and seek continual growth and learning from mistakes.
