Job summary

Kittle Property Group, Inc. is seeking a Leasing Consultant to lease apartments and deliver outstanding customer service, contributing to maximum occupancy and resident retention.

You will engage with prospective residents via tours and calls, follow up with applicants, and ensure a professional community presentation at all times. Responsibilities include move-in/move-out coordination, lease negotiations, renewals, rent collection support, and maintaining Yardi records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No prior leasing experience required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and interpret basic instructions and present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments through telephone sales and apartment tours.
• Follow up with prospective residents and current residents.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Present apartment community in a professional manner.
• Coordinate move-ins and move-outs for a positive resident experience.
• Manage lease negotiations and renewals to support occupancy.
• Assist with maintaining curb appeal of the community.
• Maintain compliance policies as directed by HKP/Compliance.
• Write work orders and log information into Yardi.
• Assist manager with rent collection and delinquency actions.
• Provide account information to the property supervisor and credit agencies.
• Enforce community rules and supervise neighborhood activities.
• Support outside marketing and liaison with local businesses.
• Assist with filing and maintaining resident records.
