Job summary

KPM is seeking a Leasing Consultant to welcome prospects, give tours, and close applications on-site in a hospitality-driven sales role. You’ll manage follow-ups across calls, text, and email, coordinate with maintenance when needed, and drive lease signings while maintaining a welcoming, show-ready leasing office.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year in customer-facing roles, strong communication, and comfort with hitting leasing targets.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in sales, leasing, hospitality, retail, or another customer-facing role.
• Strong written and verbal communication; professional phone and email presence.
• Availability to work Saturdays and occasional evenings during peak leasing season.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-ins, answer calls and internet leads, and schedule appointments.
• Tour models, available units, and amenities; match prospects to the right floor plan.
• Follow up on every lead until it closes or dies — phone, text, and email.
• Process applications: income and credit screening, verification, and approvals.
• Prepare and execute lease documents, addenda, and renewal agreements.
• Maintain accurate guest cards, traffic logs, and conversion data in the property management system.
• Hit individual weekly leasing, closing-ratio, and follow-up goals.
• Conduct competitor market surveys and report on pricing, specials, and concessions.
• Support outreach to local employers, referral partners, and neighborhood businesses.
• Keep models, the tour path, and the leasing office show-ready.
