Lynd Management Group, LLC is seeking a Leasing Consultant to guide prospective residents from first inquiry to move-in in a fast-paced sales environment. The role focuses on creating an exceptional customer experience while meeting leasing goals.

The position emphasizes relatable communication, tours, and accurate processing of applications and paperwork. Beneficial competencies include organization and follow-up with prospects and residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience.
• Strong sales, persuasion, and closing skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to telephone, email, internet, and in-person inquiries.
• Build rapport with prospects and identify their apartment preferences and needs.
• Schedule and conduct engaging property and apartment tours.
• Communicate the property's features, amenities, and value.
• Use professional sales and follow-up techniques to meet leasing goals.
• Process applications, screening documents, leases, deposits, and move-in paperwork.
• Maintain accurate guest cards and applicant and resident files.
• Walk apartments before move-in to confirm they are ready.
• Proactively contact residents regarding lease renewals.
• Build relationships with apartment locators and other referral sources.
• Complete market surveys and support marketing and outreach activities.
• Receive resident maintenance requests and follow up on completed service.
• Monitor the property's appearance and report safety or maintenance concerns.
