Job summary

Acento Real Estate Partners is seeking a motivated Leasing Consultant to greet prospective residents, conduct property tours, and match applicants with ideal homes in our Washington, DC area properties. You will guide applicants through the leasing process, coordinate move-ins, and provide exceptional service to current and prospective residents.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of leasing experience, familiarity with OneSite/MRI, and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or Advertising preferred).
• At least 1 year of leasing experience required.
• Familiarity with property management systems like OneSite, MRI, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a strong ability to close leases.
• Solid understanding of property management principles and customer service.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bilingual in Spanish & English is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents, conduct property tours, showcase apartment features, and match potential residents with the perfect home.
• Qualify prospects, assist with applications, and process background and credit checks to support timely lease signings and move-ins.
• Prepare lease agreements and move-in packages, inspect apartments before move-in, and ensure all units are in excellent condition.
• Respond to resident service requests, answer incoming calls, and provide exceptional support to current and prospective residents.
• Maintain an organized leasing office and ensure all community common areas are clean, inviting, and tour-ready.
• Use property management software (OneSite or similar) to track leasing traffic, manage availability, and maintain resident data.

What You’ll Be Doing:
