Acento Real Estate Partners in the Washington, DC metro area is seeking a Leasing Manager to lead leasing operations for our multifamily properties. You will greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, and prepare leases to achieve occupancy goals.

The role emphasizes resident experience, team development, and marketing outreach to attract prospective residents and maintain strong leasing performance. Ideal candidates have 1+ year leasing experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year leasing experience in property management.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in MS Office and property management systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and sales skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage all leasing activities including greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting tours, showing apartments, processing applications, and preparing leases.
• Ensure a smooth move-in experience for new residents, including inspections and coordination with maintenance.
• Lead, motivate, and train the leasing team to meet goals and provide excellent service.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote available units and increase occupancy.
• Use on-site software to track availability, traffic, and resident data.
• Conduct follow-up calls to prospects within 24 hours of tours and maintain ongoing communication.
• Resolve resident concerns and maintain a positive, service-oriented environment.

Your Opportunity: Leasing Manager

We are expanding and looking for a motivated and experienced Leasing Manager to lead and manage leasing operations for our properties. If you are a results-driven leader with a passion for customer service and team development, we want you on our team!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leasing & Sales: Manage all leasing activities including greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting tours, showing apartments, processing applications, and preparing leases.
• Resident Experience: Ensure a smooth and welcoming move-in experience for new residents, including apartment inspections and coordination with the maintenance team.
• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and train the leasing team to meet leasing goals, sales quotas, and provide excellent customer service.
• Marketing & Outreach: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote available units, attract prospective residents, and increase occupancy.
• Administrative Management: Utilize on-site property management software (OneSite) to track apartment availability, lease traffic, and resident data.
• Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up calls to all prospects within 24 hours of a property tour and continue communication to ensure a smooth leasing process.
• Customer Service Excellence: Resolve resident concerns, answer inquiries promptly, and maintain a positive, service-oriented environment.

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience: 1+ years of leasing experience, with a strong understanding of property management concepts and leasing operations.
• Education: High school diploma/GED required (Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or Advertising preferred).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and property management systems (OneSite, MRI, or similar).
• Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to engage and connect with prospective residents.
• Sales Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
