Job summary

Acento Real Estate Partners is seeking a motivated Leasing Consultant to join our team in the Washington, DC area. You’ll greet prospective residents, conduct tours, and match applicants with the perfect home while guiding them through applications and background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred in marketing, sales, or advertising.
• At least 1 year of leasing experience.
• Familiarity with property management systems like OneSite, MRI, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a strong ability to close leases.
• Solid understanding of property management principles and customer service.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Leasing & Tours: Greet prospective residents, conduct property tours, showcase apartment features, and match residents to homes.
• Sales Process: Qualify prospects, assist with applications, and process background and credit checks for timely leases.
• Move-In Coordination: Prepare lease agreements and move-in packages, inspect apartments, and ensure units are in excellent condition.
• Customer Service: Respond to resident requests, answer calls, and provide exceptional support to current and prospective residents.
• Daily Operations: Maintain an organized leasing office and ensure common areas are inviting and tour-ready.
• System Management: Use property management software (OneSite or similar) to track traffic, manage availability, and maintain resident data.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leasing & Tours: Greet prospective residents, conduct property tours, showcase apartment features, and match potential residents with the perfect home.

• Move-In Coordination: Prepare lease agreements and move-in packages, inspect apartments before move-in, and ensure all units are in excellent condition.
