Job summary

Pantzer Property Management seeks a Leasing Consultant for The Point at Monroe Place in Herndon, VA. You will provide top-tier service to prospective and current residents, conduct tours, and handle renewals while supporting marketing and community events.

Enjoy a collaborative team environment with onsite management, flexible weekend scheduling, and opportunities to grow within a Class A property portfolio. A valid license and one year of leasing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of one-year sales or leasing consultant experience.
• Customer service, hospitality, or product sales background.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and industry software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Weekend availability and flexibility to work required schedule.
• Successful completion of required background and drug screening prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and assisting with leasing documentation with regulatory adherence.

• Collecting security deposits, rent and other funds as needed.
• Working with onsite management and maintenance teams to provide service.
• Understanding and complying with Fair Housing laws and standards.
• Performing regular inspections of tour routes, models, and vacant apartments.
• Participating in training seminars.

Leasing Consultant - The Point at Monroe Place

Location: 2300 Woodland Crossing Dr, Herndon, VA 20171

Salary Range: $22-$24 + Monthly Renewal and Leasing Commissions

Schedule: The office is open Monday-Friday 9:00am–6:00pm, Saturday 10:00am-5:00pm, and is currently closed on Sunday. With the current schedule, this role will have Sunday's and one additional weekday off. Saturday availability is required, and Sunday hours may be reinstated in the future based on business needs.

Primary Responsibilities for the Leasing Consultant:

• Providing top quality customer service to prospective and current residents
• Conducting onsite community tours and leasing apartments to prospective residents
• Working with residents on lease renewals
• Supporting marketing efforts promoting the community to prospective and renewing residents including social media, open house, offsite, and community events
• Preparing and assisting with all leasing documentation with strict adherence to all applicable regulations and policies
• Maintaining a working knowledge of rent and pricing information, concessions, vacancies, availability, and community offerings
• Collecting security deposits, rent and other funds as needed
• Working closely with onsite management and maintenance teams to provide residents with top quality service
• Understanding and complying with all Fair Housing laws and standards
• Performing regular inspections of tour routes, models, and vacant apartments on a regular basis and working with onsite team to address any issues that arise
• Participating in training seminars

What We’re Looking for in a Leasing Consultant Candidate:

• Valid driver's license required
