Job summary

Pantzer LLC in Stamford, CT is seeking a Leasing Consultant to provide top-tier service to prospective and current residents. You will conduct on-site tours, lease apartments, assist with renewals, and support marketing efforts for The Point Stamford, a Class A property with 641 units.

The schedule runs Sunday–Thursday with rotating Saturdays; a valid driver's license and strong communication skills are required; previous leasing or sales experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ year of sales or leasing experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide top quality customer service to prospective and current residents.
• Conduct onsite tours and lease apartments to prospects.
• Assist residents with lease renewals.
• Support marketing efforts including social media, open houses, events.
• Prepare leasing documents in line with regulations and policies.
• Maintain knowledge of rent, pricing, concessions, vacancies, and community offerings.
• Collect deposits and rents as needed.
• Collaborate with onsite management and maintenance teams.
• Adhere to Fair Housing laws and standards.
• Inspect tour routes, models, and vacant units regularly.
• Attend training seminars.

Location: 1 Greyrock Place, Stamford, CT 06901

Salary Range: $24 - $27/hr, plus commission

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday (Mon-Thurs 9am to 6pm / Sun 12pm to 5pm); Rotating Saturday schedule (10am to 6pm)

Primary Responsibilities for the Leasing Consultant:

• Providing top quality customer service to prospective and current residents
• Conducting onsite community tours and leasing apartments to prospective residents
• Working with residents on lease renewals
• Supporting marketing efforts promoting the community to prospective and renewing residents including social media, open house, offsite, and community events
• Preparing and assisting with all leasing documentation with strict adherence to all applicable regulations and policies
• Maintaining a working knowledge of rent and pricing information, concessions, vacancies, availability, and community offerings
• Collecting security deposits, rent and other funds as needed
• Working closely with onsite management and maintenance teams to provide residents with top quality service
• Understanding and complying with all Fair Housing laws and standards
• Performing regular inspections of tour routes, models, and vacant apartments on a regular basis and working with onsite team to address any issues that arise
• Participating in training seminars

What We’re Looking for in a Leasing Consultant Candidate:

• Valid driver's license required
• Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• A minimum of one-year sales or leasing consultant experience
• Customer service, hospitality, or product sales background
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in working in various digital platforms including Microsoft Office Suite and various industry-related software platforms
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to maintain a "can do" attitude to ensure the property’s success
• Flexibility to work required schedule including weekends
• Successful completion of required background and drug screening prior to start of employment
