Job summary

Idm-Companies-1 is seeking a Leasing Consultant in Gilbert, AZ to be the first point of contact for customers and to drive occupancy goals. You will tour properties, handle applications, and ensure an exceptional leasing and move-in experience.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in property management with strong customer service skills and basic leasing knowledge, in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Weekend availability is required.

The primary responsibility is to build rapport with prospects and residents, while ensuring the tour, application, move in and tenancy is consistently an excellent customer experience.Duties/Responsibilities:Assist manager in marketing efforts, to include outreach, preferred employer programs, networking and social media campaigns.Generate interest in the community by touring the property with prospects as you answer questions about the numerous amenities, local community and beautiful groundsGain familiarity with the IDM family of communities, floor plans, and availabilityHighlight the quality of the community and the lifestyle available at our apartment homes by focusing on amenities offered, property location, and areaFacilitate the prospect application process by collecting appropriate information, initiating background checks, compiling files, and maintaining appropriate prospect contactProvide detailed move-in information to incoming residentsDeliver a consistently high level of service to residents to exceed their expectations, while maintaining resident retentionBe attentive to detail, planning and organizing skills to perform required office activities and coordinate paperworkAssist with coordination of work orders, fulfillment of resident needs, and facilitate communication to the maintenance staff and/or management as necessarySkills/Abilities:1-3 years relevant property management experience requiredExcellent customer service skills with a strong attention to detailBasic leasing knowledge - including Fair Housing LawsTeam player, willing to go the extra mile to provide concierge level customer serviceAble to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environmentProficient with Microsoft Office SuiteMust be able to work weekendsPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walkingMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds
