Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Assistant to handle leasing, marketing, and sustaining positive resident relations at a property. Regular onsite presence and proactive engagement with prospective residents are essential to drive occupancy and renewal rates.

The role involves showing properties, processing leases, and executing marketing plans while coordinating with teams to maintain asset standards and a high level of customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lease, market, and maintain positive resident relations.
• Regular onsite attendance required.
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour, and sign a lease.
• Close the sale: set appointments, generate leads, conduct tours, maintain model units, and follow up.
• Complete leasing paperwork prior to move-in.
• Assist with lease audits, walking units, and turnover.
• Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data; respond to leads within 24 hours.
• Use sales strategies to increase traffic and achieve leasing goals.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed.
• Address resident complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist in resident retention programs.
• Contribute to upkeep of office, common areas, and model.
• Assist in annual marketing plan outreach.
• Review market surveys to generate ideas and plans.
• Keep knowledge of property and market conditions; complete weekly survey.

• Ensure consistency in dealing with residents
• Enforce policies delegated by supervisor
