Job summary

Freeman Webb Company is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee leasing activities, supervise staff, and support the Community Manager in daily operations at the Murfreesboro property. The role includes leasing, filing, billing, and maintaining curb appeal, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities include leading leasing efforts, training staff, handling administrative duties, preparing reports, and assisting with marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing and property management operations.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Solid knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Ability to identify problems and propose solutions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist residents and prospects; conduct model/community tours.
• Process applications and verify residency eligibility; prepare leases.
• Prepare and distribute notices, renewals, and marketing materials.
• Record keeping: rent posting, deposits, maintenance requests, and reports.
• Train junior staff and coordinate with Community Manager on leasing goals.
• Handle off-site marketing and competitive market analysis as needed.
• In the absence of management, assume supervisory responsibilities.
