Job summary

Cardinal Group in Gainesville seeks a Leasing Community Intern (Temporary, Non-Exempt) to support resident services and leasing operations. You will deliver high-quality customer service and assist with front desk duties to drive occupancy and retention.

The role requires enrollment in a degree program, 2.5+ GPA, a valid driver’s license, and availability for ~20 hours per week including evenings and weekends. Training through Cardinal Way of Leasing and Cardinal U will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited degree program with at least 6 credit hours.
• Must have completed at least one year at the enrolled college/university.
• GPA of at least 2.5; annual verification.
• Must live on designated community floor per guidelines.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Approximately 20 hours per week; evenings and weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for customer service and elevate resident satisfaction.
• Administrative Front Desk tasks and duties.
• Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing (CWoL) training.
• Warmly greet prospects and present the community and homes.
• Process lease applications and lease file paperwork.
• Maintain accurate lease documentation and audits.
• Assist with planning community events and tours.
• Participate in Cardinal U training; on-call responsibilities.
• Work evenings and weekends as required.
