Job summary

RPM Living in Temple, TX is seeking a Leasing Associate to manage leasing, marketing, and resident relations for our community. You will greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, coordinate with maintenance, and support social media presence to boost visibility.

The role requires an associate's degree or equivalent with some experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software, strong communication, and a customer-first attitude.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; 6 months to 1 year related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software is required.
• Strong communication and customer-service-focused mindset are essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries to schedule tours (virtual, self-guided, and in-person).
• Qualify prospects and assist with applications and deposits following procedures and Fair Housing.
• Maintain availability reports; process applications with credit checks and rental history.
• Coordinate with Community Manager on applicant status and approvals.
• Show apartments, close sales, and prepare move-in paperwork.
• Assist in social media presence to boost property visibility.
• Address resident questions and complaints to improve satisfaction and retention.
• Close sales by scheduling appointments, generating new leads, and following up.
• Apply marketing strategies to drive traffic within budget and plan.
• Project a favorable image of the community to meet objectives.
• Plan resident events to encourage retention; attend after-hours functions when needed.
• Prepare lease, move-in, and checkout paperwork in a timely manner.
• Attend regular goal-setting meetings and collaborate with maintenance for timely service.
