Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Leasing Associate to manage leasing, marketing, and positive resident relations for an apartment community in Texas. You will sign leases, qualify applicants, process applications, and coordinate move-ins with the property team.

The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent and familiarity with leasing software. Weekly on-site work with some after-hours events is typical, and benefits are provided by RPM Living.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Microsoft Office and property management software proficiency.
• Experience with leasing processes and Fair Housing knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries to schedule tours (virtual, self-guided, in-person).
• Greet and qualify prospects using guest cards; assist with applications and deposits per procedures.
• Process applications with credit checks and rental history verification; submit for processing.
• Seek Community Manager approval and update applicants on status.
• Show apartments and close sales; prepare move-ins and obtain signatures.
• Maintain active social media presence to boost visibility and engagement.
• Address resident questions and issues promptly to support retention.
• Close sales activities: appointments, lead generation, tours, showrooms, follow-ups.
• Apply marketing strategies to drive traffic within budget and plan.
• Represent the community positively to achieve objectives and recognition.
• Attend after-hours events as needed; host resident functions.
• Complete lease, move-in, and checkout paperwork promptly.
• Participate in weekly and daily goal-setting meetings.
• Collaborate with maintenance for timely service to residents.
