Job summary

RPM Living in Plano, TX is seeking a Leasing Associate to drive leasing, marketing, and positive resident relations. You will handle leases, show apartments, and help applicants complete applications consistent with our policies and Fair Housing requirements.

This on-site role requires strong customer service, organization, and collaboration with maintenance and the marketing team. A two-year degree or comparable experience is expected, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and property

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
• Microsoft Office and Property Management Software proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to telephone and internet inquiries from residents and prospects to schedule virtual, self-guided, and in-person tours
• Greet and qualify prospects professionally using guest cards in our Lead Management Software; assist with applications and deposits per procedures and Fair Housing requirements
• Keep an updated availability report, process applications with credit checks and rental history verification, then submit them for processing
• Collaborate with Community Manager to follow up with applicants on status
• Show apartments and close sales, prepare them for move-ins, obtain signatures, and provide community orientation
• Assist in maintaining an active social media presence to enhance visibility and engagement
• Promote resident satisfaction by promptly responding to complaints and requests
• Close sales through appointments, tours, lead generation, show rooms, and follow-ups
• Apply marketing strategies to drive traffic within the Marketing Plan and budget
• Present a favorable image of the community to achieve objectives
• Plan resident functions to boost retention and attend after-hours events as needed
• Complete lease, move-in, and check-out paperwork timely
• Participate in weekly/daily goal meetings
• Coordinate with maintenance for resident service requests according to standards
