Job summary

1st Lake Properties is seeking an energetic Assistant Manager to join our apartment community. You will lead tours, coordinate move-ins with maintenance, and handle inquiries to deliver an exceptional resident experience.

You’ll nurture relationships, assist with events and marketing, and ensure records comply with policies and Fair Housing regulations, while embracing a positive, service-driven culture.

Qualifications

• A background in sales, customer service, or hospitality (property management experience is a plus!)
• Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Experience with property management software (AppFolio is a bonus, but we're happy to train the right person!)
• A positive, goal-oriented attitude and a genuine passion for helping people
• Flexibility to work an occasional Saturday when needed

Responsibilities

• Give engaging tours to future residents to fall in love with their new home
• Coordinate make-ready with maintenance and vendors to ensure move-in readiness
• Respond to phone, email, and in-person inquiries promptly
• Guide residents through the leasing journey from application to move-in
• Build lasting relationships and foster a community residents are proud to call home
• Assist with marketing initiatives, resident events, and community outreach
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and Fair Housing regulations
