Job summary

Cardinal Group Companies seeks a Leasing Community Intern at our Tallahassee property. This temporary, non-exempt role focuses on delivering outstanding resident service while supporting leasing activities and community events.

The intern will assist at the front desk, greet prospects, process applications, and help maintain an inviting tour path. Evening and weekend availability is required, with approximately 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be enrolled in a degree program with ≥6 credit hours.
• Must have completed at least one year of college.
• Must maintain a 2.5 GPA and live on designated community floor.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Available to be scheduled for work approximately 20 hours per week.
• Available evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for customer service by consistently going above and beyond to ensure that Cardinal customers are satisfied.
• Administrative Front Desk tasks and duties.
• Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing (CWoL) training as required.
• Utilize the Cardinal Way of Leasing by warmly greeting prospective clients, answering calls, determining needs, presenting the community, selling features/benefits, closing the sale, and following up.
• Complete all lease applications and lease file paperwork.
• Maintain accurate lease file documentation and participate in lease file audits as assigned by the Community Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness of the tour path for a positive first impression.
• Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with team members, residents, and vendors.
• Participate in community events and other projects as assigned by the Community Manager.
