Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Hampstead, NC. You will support leasing, manage resident relations, and handle financial tasks such as rent collection and renewals, while collaborating with the Community Manager to empower the team and ensure resident satisfaction.

The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and a proactive approach to community events and social media content, with a focus on service and engagement within our Live It culture.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent is required.
• Two years of property management experience preferred.
• CALP accreditation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist leasing by conducting tours and guiding prospects.
• Support rent collection, ledger reviews, and financial reporting.
• Lead in absence of Community Manager and maintain team momentum.
• Resolve resident concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Create and manage social content to highlight events.
• Ensure office and common areas are clean and welcoming.
