Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in daily operations and financial record-keeping, while assisting with leasing, marketing, and resident relations. The role requires strong communication skills and bilingual ability in Spanish is a plus.

Based in Pflugerville, TX, the position involves processing applications, coordinating with residents, and maintaining accurate records in Yardi.

Qualifications

• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Demonstrate ability to support and contribute to the community team.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must communicate effectively in English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing advertising materials.
• Assist in showing units and screening applicants.
• Maintain records of rental levels of comparable units in the surrounding area.
• Present creative leasing and marketing ideas.
• Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, and representatives of other companies.
• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria and questions.
• Have the prospect complete the application and secure a deposit.
• Update availability report and process applications for approvals (credit, history).
• Assist in monitoring renewals and distribute renewal notices.
• Professionally represent the company at all times.
