Job summary

Valiant Residential in Arlington, TX is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in daily operations, leasing, marketing, and resident relations. This role focuses on accurately recording financial data and maintaining rental records while contributing to a welcoming community.

You will greet prospects, screen applicants, prepare advertising materials, process applications, coordinate renewals, and help enforce community policies.

Qualifications

• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Apartment management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in advertising materials preparation.
• Assist in showing units and screening applicants.
• Maintain records of rental levels for comparable units.
• Present creative leasing and marketing ideas.
• Maintain courteous communication with residents and applicants.
• Handle applications, deposits, and credit checks per procedures.
• Process renewals and notices; monitor rents and payments.
• Input information accurately in Yardi and coordinate with Community Manager.
• Assist with lease preparation, signing, and administration.
• Coordinate with maintenance and respond to resident inquiries.
