Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Leasing Consultant to act as the community's sales representative by greeting clients, presenting features, and securing lease agreements from qualified applicants. Responsibilities include processing applications, ensuring show-ready units, and maintaining knowledge of lease terms and policies.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Professional and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Customer service experience preferred in a leasing role.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and present community features to secure leases.
• Collect deposits and process future residents’ applications.
• Ensure model/target apartments are ready for show and maintain a clean workspace.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability, and policies.
• Use professional customer service and sales techniques.
• Maintain contact with local apartment locator services and businesses.
• Conduct outreach marketing and shop surrounding properties.
• Develop and maintain resident retention programs.
• Create move-in files and assist with file maintenance.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Handle resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
