Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Leasing Consultant in California. This role acts as the community's sales representative, greeting clients, presenting features, and securing lease agreements from qualified persons.

Responsibilities include processing applications, preparing model units, marketing outreach, and resident relations. Compensation ranges from $27.00 to $29.00 per hour for full-time employment, with benefits and incentive programs.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to remain professional and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Customer service experience preferred in leasing.

Responsibilities

• Collect a deposit and process future residents’ applications.
• Ensure model/target apartments are ready for show and maintain a clean workspace.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability, market conditions, and policies.
• Utilize proper customer service and sales techniques.
• Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses.
• Shop surrounding properties and conduct outreach marketing.
• Develop and maintain resident retention programs.
• Create new move-in resident files and assist with ongoing file maintenance.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Handle resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
